New ones do have the rounded piece. They are nice and just slide on but aren’t the most sturdy. Mine shipped with a broken one but bakflip sent a replacement without any hassle.

Dang, I have been seriously considering the blue carbon for my lightning blue Ranger but that real carbon looks very nice installed.

How are these holding up in the heat? Any looseness or loss of adhesion?

I installed mine in July. Small issue with a broken corner bracket but Bak sent a replacement. Take your time and you will be pleased 2020XLT. Do lay out everything though, as the OP is right—the Ranger specific instructions are a little less than clear at first.

Ditto on latching the back seat. Two plastic washers from Ace for less than a buck did the trick. Hoping you can get the other issues ironed out.
