  1. Slip Joint?

I would definitely have the front end inspected. Most likely it’s something minor, I’ve had the strut tower on other vehicles do something similar to what your describing along with a worn sway bar bushing. Good luck to you
  2. Slip Joint?

Looking at it from a standpoint of it being felt in the steering wheel, I would suspect maybe ball joint, tie rod, or maybe cv joint if you have 4x4. The bump from the slip joint is usually felt in the seat not the steering wheel.
  3. Slip Joint?

Is you truck 2wd or 4x4?
  4. Job, what do you do

?I didn’t retire with the USAF but was prior E&E on F-15E from 2002-2008. Stationed at SJAFB while I was in. Awesome job and definitely miss it. Now I’m an AutoTheft investigator for a local police department and have been there for 12 years now.
  5. Cost of labor to install rear shocks?

If you lived in Alabama I’d tell ya to swing by and I’d do it for free ? and provide a beer!
  6. My experience with Stage 3

This probably doesn’t help you any but I purchased Eibach struts as well (not from Stage 3) and also had missing mounting hardware. I contacted Eibach and they sent the replacements quickly without question. Definitely good people.
  7. New squeaking sound

A manifold leak can cause a similar sound when cold. Mostly not noticeable until you are on the throttle.
  8. Other ecoboost engines vs ours

I would be interested in what member P. A. Schilke has regarding your question. I believe he was on the engineering side of the Ranger platform.
