We crossed the continental divide three times this summer towing a 21ft, 5500lbs camp trailer. Going up was less stressful than coming down. We kept it in tow mode stayed at 55 or less. No problems at all.
We wanted something that could tow our travel trailer but didn't want a full sized truck. The ranger is almost as big as the F150 in the 90s and does a great job towing the trailer. This is my third year with the ranger and have no regrets. The payload same towing specs for the Tacoma, combined...
I hit it by mistake when reaching for something in the console. I've never used the system before and didn't realize how it worked. I got it figured out.
I'm an idiot, I figured it out. Thanks for the replies. I accidently hit the button on the console which locked differential but it only activates when I slow down for the corners.
A couple times (totally randomly) the electronic locking differential turns off on when taking a corners and the truck jolts through the turn. I haven't deactivated the system at the switch and I have to pull over, turn the truck off and wait a bit for it to stop happening. What am I doing wrong?
I just dropped my 2019 lariat off at the dealer with the same issues. They are replacing the audio control module. ? I also lost GPS and voice commands.
Does anyone else have this problem with their 12v ports? I know it's a little thing but every time I hit a bump these little dudes flip up. ? ?
(What is driving me more crazy is that there is some glitch in my sync system and radio, phone connection, voice commands and GPS are non functional...
I had the same issue. There was some issue with the trucks modem. It was stuck "on" and was sending ford a bunch of junk data. They reset the modem at the dealer and the problem was solved.
I've had out 2019 Lariat since March. I bought the trucked "used" from a dealer that was using it as a service loaner. After the first month I notice the coolant level was really low so took it in and they replaced a hose that was leaking. They filled the coolant level about a quarter inch...
My main issue with kill traps is sometimes they maim instead of kill and then I risked it crawling back into my dash to die. In this instance the rat didn't do enough damaged to get me pissed and it was kind of cute so I released it in a ditch away from humanity.
We live in the city between two busy roads. Cats would be road kill.
This is the trap we got. It took a few days to catch the rat. I think they have to get used to it before they will go inside.

glove box = jockey box, must be a PNW term ? I've heard Toyota, especially the Prius uses soy wiring. I hope ford didn't jump on that bandwagon. I did see a commercial about the F150 being made out of recycled junk so maybe they have. I checked wires under the dash pretty well and didn't notice...
