Definitely a pain. Take the passenger tire and splash guard off for better access to down pipe. And got it with PB blaster do it warm.

This makes the most sense, I'm chalking up to this. Question is should I replace now that it's losing the media??

Had it 4 years no issues, just noticed this during a recent emptying. Catch can are highly recommended for Ecoboosts.

Ok one last question, it looks like it has some type of adapter for the upper O2 sensor did it come that way? I have one on currently and the CAT is bad and I don't remember it having that bung attachment..
