Mine feels exactly the same. I came from driving an SS Camaro so I was used to that instant torque but this thing can feel like a complete turd until about 3000 RPM then she wakes up a bit. Just the nature of the thing I guess.

Yeah my brakes feel the same. It's the only real complaint I have about my truck. I was wondering if there is any aftermarket bigger brake kits out there that would improve this.

I do occasionally but I wouldn't say "a lot" You're probably correct. Either way it looks better for sure lol

I removed mine and haven't noticed any loss in mpg or any overheating issues at all. Looks much better without it.
