I stand corrected. Looks like Ford is now spraying entire box, including between the end of the bed and tailgate, unlike they used to do.

Looks awesome. Like a Raptor. With all these special edition Rangers they've had for int'l market, I can see the US/NA market getting some of our own too.
Based on F-150 owners' experiences with the factory spray in bedliner, a big complaint is that it doesn't protect between the end of the bed and the tailgate, which is an important area.
LineX applicators do spray that area though.
Same! I've wanted a midsize for a while now but could never come to accept the strange look of the Tacoma or the boring styling of the Colorado. Now finally I get to get something that looks similarly good as the F-150 but without being unnecessarily big.
Man that looks good thanks. This color was tops on my list and that just helped solidify my choice I think. I like how they have the tail lights lit up too, the lighting design is really nice.
Thanks for sharing! The money factor is kinda high, but so are finance rates now. But that 68% residual is just amazing on a 36 month lease!
Would you happen to have lease numbers for the XL and Lariat Ranger too?
Order guides come out monthly and sometimes they do add or change equipment, packages and options. And since this was the very first order guide, for the first run Rangers, we could definitely see things added in the next few months as they ramp up production.
Welcome! I bet there'll be lots of new to Ford trucks people here once they get a whiff of the Ranger Raptor. It should have a nice halo effect for the rest of the Ranger lineup.
I'd be satisfied with best in class torque and would prefer that it's got class leading torque than class leading HP (though both would be awesome). It's not going to be a light weight pickup so the extra torque will matter more than HP.
Sweet can't wait to see.
@rduvall super helpful chart thanks for sharing. Will you be including the Jeep Scrambler also once that's revealed?
Those would be class leading numbers. Imagine we get a Ranger with class leading power, MPG and lowest pricing (all definitely possible), even without the styling advantage that...
Wonder if that depends on if you choose a model or package with the FordPass Connect 4G Wi-Fi Modem - with the shark fin being for those with this technology?
The rumors have been that it will be announced for the US with a public showing either at the LA Auto Show in November or at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
Don't see tow rating but did see a tow package for $495 for a Class IV hitch with 4/7 pin wiring harness.
I like how Ford undercut the Tacoma's base starting price by 5 bucks :p Tacoma is still ugly anyway so wouldn't have picked it even if Ranger was slightly pricier.
To compare, a 2018 F-150 Lariat SuperCrew 4x4 (2.7-liter EcoBoost) prices out at $46,795 so what'll be interesting is to see how the incentives are for the Ranger compared to the F-150.
Cool! Be careful though, the configurator pricing and models aren't exactly accurate yet. Should be updated next week
According to Road & Track:
Today, a configurator page for the 2019 Ranger went live on Ford's website, indicating the truck would start at $24,000 with a base two-wheel drive...
