On my first set it was when I was turning. On this set that I currently am running it happens mostly when I'm driving straight in the wheel articulates up and down on the trail and when turning.

Boots are in perfect condition still. Other than being slightly dirty. I only have a 2 inch leveling kit with stock suspension.

I only noticed the clicking when it is in 4-wheel drive though. I don't know if it's only because of the extra binding from the transfer case giving the front wheels power. I'm going to be taking it into Ford service again here soon. Just trying to find out if the parts they used are made of...

I have an XLT with the problem so... I definitely will file a complaint and hope others to do the same. Not doing it to be an ass but so we can get the issue resolved.

So I guess you being a retired Ford Engineer, do you think Ford will come up with a fix/solution for this? I love my Ranger but hate the sound so much lol

So this started happening to me alot recently, at about 3000 miles I only heard it slightly at 70+ mph. Now at 4500 miles it's pretty loud now. I can hear it over the radio now. After reading everyone else's response to the same issue. I wonder if there will ever be a fix for this!?

So I'm getting a humming sound at highway speeds above 70mph when I let off the gas. So I tried coasting in neutral at 70mph and no sound. What could this be? Any help would be appreciated. 2019 Ford Ranger XLT FX4 4600 MILES
