I went with the MBRP Duals. Very mellow, barely audible at cruising speed, quite deep.

Had the stock non-FX4 suspension before, yes. FX4 feels a bit firmer, but not much on the road. I will find out how much different it is when the boys and I go wheeling this weekend.

I wanted an FX4 originally. But I found a lightly used 2wd Lariat for nearly $10k less. With that amount in savings I can have my Ranger and buy an older FX4 that I won't feel so bad beating around on the trails with. So, around Xmas next year, I plan to begin the search for a nice older...
