Installed this weekend and everything's working great. Already used the remote window open a couple times to cool down the truck before getting in, love it. Also had to remind the wife she doesn't have to hold the window button on the passenger side anymore - she did a one-touch pull, the window...
I'm in for round #3! Will be a great mod to add to the Auto window module I just ordered through you as well!! Maybe could save on shipping by putting both into a single box?
Sorry guys for the delayed reply! This was at Apple Ford in Apple Valley, but unfortunately I think they only had it for the weekend, it's likely gone now. That truck is touring around, so maybe it's sitting at another Twin Cities dealer now?
Thanks @rangerdanger ! It's going to be a long few months waiting! :headbang:
Oh and thank you so much for the original post on this (and not to forget your contributions everywhere else on this forum), I would have been completely clueless on the ROVP otherwise!
Has the dealer provided you an ROVP approval confirmation email that they should have gotten from Ford? Looks just like the email in the leading post of this thread. Based on my experience I wouldn't trust anything said until you are shown that ROVP approval email.
Word to the wise, if you've put in a retail order to your dealership and haven't gotten confirmation that the ROVP application has been approved (email as shown in the first message of this thread), then reach out to your dealer and specifically ask them about your ROVP status (NOT JUST ORDER...
Jack was behind the passenger rear, tools under the passenger rear above the larger of the two cubbies under the rear seats. Not sure why the driver rear under seat storage is so small, couldn't figure out what's taking up all that space under/behind the cubby.
Might be able to fit a rope on...
I saw a preproduction Lariat in Minnesota today and was able to take a few photos of the rearview mirror assembly, hopefully this helps with your dashcam plans!
Thank you @RedlandRanger !!!! I'd been trying everything I could to get the $750 email offer without any luck, and this Facebook link worked immediately!
At a Ranger Drive event we drove around the parking lot with Trail Control engaged. It was impressively smooth and worked quickly to correct the speed back down even using some braking after we accelerated using the throttle.
It was kinda noisy while controlling the speed, and I'm not sure...
Photo of factory spray liner from the San Antonio Drive event. Doesn't extend down into the gap between bed and tailgate. Caveat that these are preproduction trucks though...
My Ranger Drive rep in San Antonio on Thursday gave me what he's seen on his truck driving it ~4500 miles so far. It's a Lariat 4x4 Crew Cab with FX4 package.
Best he's seen driving on the freeway is 30 mpg, typically 21-23 in the city. Between events he's towing a 3500 lb enclosed trailer and...
Looks like we drove the same truck! San Antonio event?
I mentioned the gap in liner coverage to the Ford rep and they didn't know if it would be different on the production trucks.
