Same Same. Three reflashes on mine. On the third, the dealer said to drive it for 800- 1000 miles and it will relearn and be right as rain. Two days later it had a catastrophic failure on the freeway, causing trans fluid to leak and smoke everywhere. When I took it back they deemed it more...
So looks like the rubbing happened closer to the front of the arch. I went out to take some pictures and noticed there are signs of rubbing on the black plastic wheel well liner. I checked the other side and sure enough I rubbed there too! Time for a 1” block lift?
I should probably measure the distances from top of tire to the top of the fender arch; bump stop to leaf pack. They are much more flexible than stock even at the level 2 configuration. Great ride.
judging off the first picture the tires would likely tuck up in the fender before making any kind...
I’ve got 285/70R17 tires on, with raptor bump stops, and icon leaf packs. I haven’t upgraded my fx4 shocks yet. While messing around the rear fender cap/trim got torn off. I didn’t see it happen so no clue how. There looks to be some evidence of rubbing on the under side of it. Did my rear tire...
Thanks. I did the same; tightened as much as possible at first. backed off later and the noise reduced. I'll try tightening to 85 ft-lbs. Seems like the front bolt mount is the issue. Completely silent at the shackle.
Pretty damn even. a little lower on the passenger side right now because I'm parked on the street. Image 1: Passenger Side. Image 2: Driver Side. Don't judge me for wanting to get every penny out of these stock tires before I move up :p
I installed these and have been driving with them for 2 weeks now. I bought these for a number of reasons and am super pleased with the results. I wanted to address two issues. 1) The front-to-back rocking or boat feeling with the OE spring. 2) Rear end squat when loaded.
I have a decked drawer...
Wondering what are some comparable options to Deaver springs. My bed is getting heavy and will get much heavier. Carrying a decked drawer system and planning on the RSI smart cap
Thanks Phil. Running just fine but I still have some concern. I’ve got a busy week and can’t get the truck in to service. Hoping someone can provide a good picture of both the front and back faces of the carrier so I can compare.
A little off-topic, but not... I had a tarp get wrapped up on the driveshaft while driving on the freeway this weekend. I had to get under and cut it off. Part of it melted on/into the carrier boot/bushing. Can anyone share a picture of the rear face of their carrier? Want to see if mine looks...
Everyone's already said it, but I am of the same opinion that the stock FX4 package is pretty damn solid and more capable than is given credit. I am continually impressed/shocked at the trails and lines my truck has handled.
I'm only considering upgrading due to the increased frequency I go out...
