Had one get inside my vents and die. I just did a insurance claim and let the dealer find it. Lucky it was in one of the vents going to the back. Still cost $1500.
I'm pretty anal about keeping my cars clean so I wash and vacuum once a week. That way it does not get two bad. Only use the vac and 301 on the plastics. Takes me about a hour a car to clean.
That is it, not that hard if you have the right tools and watched enough videos on how it is done. Also had a couple of disc in my lower back fused in January. Feel like a million bucks.
I went the easy way and ordered the shocks with the springs installed. Which worked out good because I would of needed new top hats to keep the old ones.
Since it is 2wd it will be a piece of cake. Same as doing 4wd but don't have to worry about the front cv pulling out of place. Plenty of write ups on the interwebs on how to do. Just did mine last month (4wd) and I am 64 years old and only took me a couple of hours. No special tools needed.
Had this problem today while on a trip. Was working fine the day before but would not hook to internet. Fordpass was working fine. Pulled fuse and waiting 10 minutes now working again.
Just did a fluid change today with the PPE pan and fitzstick already installed and even with a bad back did not take longer that 30 minutes with me moving in slow speed. Well worth the money.
Had my drivers side rear bracket brake. Sent them a message to see how much a new one would cost and they sent me out a free one ASAP. Might not hurt reaching out to them with the pictures just to see if they will replace it.
