Dito to what VAMike said. The AA Wireless is very rock solid for me. However, I do occasionally see the AndroidAuto interface reboot, but I am wondering if there is some wirless interferance on a particular road segment in that the reboot always occurs in just that area.

What I am curious about is if the Lariat door harness with the extra leads would plug into the XLT main harness inside the cab such that we do not have to then splice into the turn signals, heat, puddle leads.

I am not sure I would want to since it appears to be bolted in from the top and it could probably be removed with either unscrewing or shearing the screw heads. Probably ok for keeping people out of the safe area if they would only have a short access period.

Well, I have had the wheels stolen off my car one time. Of course the thieves broke into the car and got the wheel lock out and used that to take off the tires. The wheel locks are only good if you keep the lock with you and who wants to carry around a wheel lock all the time.
