  1. When did Ford start using metric?

M My grandfather had a British motorcycle dealership. He sold Vincent motorcycles. We have a few of them hanging around. The old man has a Black Shadow and I’m restoring a Vincent Comet
  2. When did Ford start using metric?

I have SAE, metric and Witworth in my rollaway. I have issues. I had 5 different FOX bodies and also wrenched a lot on a friend’s ‘78 Fairmont. Fastener sizes drove me nuts (?).

  5. What is something you love, and something you dislike about the Ranger?

The TSB is out! I just found it on this site. Software issue. Mine goes in on Monday.
  6. What is something you love, and something you dislike about the Ranger?

I am pretty sure I have a Ford drop in liner. As you say, there is the vertical pocket rear of the wheel well to separate loads. On gen 1 Rangers, the pockets were parallel to the top of the wheel wells, front and back. It made it easy to slide a 4x8 in there. Simple but very effective
  7. What is something you love, and something you dislike about the Ranger?

Mine came fr mine will stumble out the driveway and for about the first few tenths of a mile. It is going in Monday for oil change #1 and to have this checked. No CEL thrown as of yet.
  8. What is something you love, and something you dislike about the Ranger?

Good- engine, handling, interior comfort and towing. I love thos Improve- my 1st gen Ranger had pockets in the bed to put two 2x6’s crossways to get a 4x8 sheet in without it resting on the wheel wells. I wish this Had it Bad- on the first start of the day, the engine stumbles when in gear...
  9. What are you guys towing?

First of all, who put the black rail fence in my yard!?!?! The driveway dips 1* to the right. Pennsylvania has a northern gradient of 3.45 degrees downward to the north. My lawn, where I took the photo has a mild downward grade of 3 degrees away from the driveway. Photo was taken after 3 IPAs...
  10. 8492 - 2019 Ranger - Trailer Brake Controller Availability

It initially displayed that a trailer was connected. I hit ok, then followed the owners manual. Trailer is less than 8’2, less than 33 feet (ok boys and girls, fess up. WHO IS PULLING A 34’ TRAILER?!?!?!!!!!). I already had lane keeping shut off and the park aid as well. I did use the...

  13. 8492 - 2019 Ranger - Trailer Brake Controller Availability

I agree. I installed a Reese on my 92, 95 and 2001 F150's. Was spoiled rotten when my 2010 had it integrated in the dash, nice and clean. Made life easy with the info in the instrument display. I took a leap of faith going from a 5.4 to a 2.3L, but based on the way my son's F150 2.7 EB and my...
  14. 8492 - 2019 Ranger - Trailer Brake Controller Availability

On Black Friday I bought an XLT with package 302A and the 7500 tow rating, sight unseen as the dealer (whom family has bought numerous Fords from...) had to get it from another dealer 50 miles away. Traded my F150 with the integrated brake controller and was disappointed when I took delivery...
