I contacted every dealer in New Mexico and could only find one dealer who was willing to do more than $500 plus the rebates... ending up buying in Colorado... So, from my experience, there are quite a lot of dealers trying to get you to buy with the only discount being the rebate. I financed...

Agreed... had another one today... online they advertise a price, about $6500 off MSRP with the $5500 rebate... so I click the "I'm interested" button on their web-page and have a nice text and email series of chats and finally get a worked up price.... of exactly $5500 off... e.g., they didn't...
Those links seem to suggest the rebate is only on 4x2 trucks? I sure hope not, as I am ready to purchase, but was not able to get it done over the holiday -- my local dealers did not want to give more then a thousand or so off in addition to the rebates.
I tried 5 local area dealers and am not able to get the amazing deals others are getting either. The best anyone will do is essentially invoice and then the rebate. Maybe you have to be in a really big market?
Are you finding dealers giving you $10K off with the $6050 in rebate? I spent the weekend dealing with all 5 local area dealers and the best anyone would do was add another $2,000 to the $6050 rebate... nobody would come down more than that. I don't have a trade-in, so I was hoping it would be...
