I had someone bump into me the other day on my 19 Ranger STX and what I did was took some Testors model paint flat gunmetal gray and it was pretty dang close - I then also had some gloss black so I did like approximately a 2-1 ratio and it turned out pretty exact - I’m pretty OCD with my truck...

I guess I should say I used to have a 2010 Ranger 3.0 I could tell I was pulling a pop-up as my comparison for reference :crackup:

Thank You Samsquanch:like: Brittany Blue - I really went back and fourth as it started life as Royal Maroon, not that there’s anything wrong with that but I figured she’s just a run of the mill coupe so I’m going to paint it the color I really like but still keep it a period correct color for 68

I just cannot say enough about how much this Ranger continues to impress me - it pulled this with ease. Now not sure I’d want to tow it cross country but across town I could hardly even tell I was pulling anything!!!

thanks Ranger Pride - that was sort of my thought process for example I’ve had mustang v6 that had the driving light harness plugs thinking they may use generic harness throughout- but apparently according to Hardy I was a f’ing idiot to ask such a question...

I built my own - I still have to figure how to secure it better - I’m thinking maybe those clips similar used to mount mud flaps, but I just bought a generic piece of honeycomb grill, measured the opening and used some door edge guard to trim the sides, I think it came out ok....

I didn’t really ‘need’ a new truck but I was missing not having a truck in my life so I had my eye on this 2011 Ford Ranger Fx4 level ll that had popped up for sale but those little rangers if not beat to death really hold there value around here so for what they still wanted for it it ended up...

Hi All - I’m sorry if this topic has already been discussed, I searched and could not find anything but this a.m. when I went to start my truck the pitch of my ignition chime changed from the normal tone to the same tone but a much higher pitch. Has anyone else ever run across this?

My recommendation- rent a trailer. I’ve done this exact thing when I had my Nissan Frontier, it did it but when they dropped the dirt I was expecting the shocks to come blowing out the back of the truck :surprised:

Not to beat this topic to death but that is one purchase I made that I’d take back if I had to do it over again - I really only bought it in hopes it would muffle the fuel injector buzz but it’s still pretty noticeable...

I just noticed the other day I also have that issue to the point that the finish is starting to wear off of my handle - 2000 miles:frown:
