Noticed the TC light the other day when I happened again. I've been trying to remember to turn the TC off. Lol it's always on a small decline and turn. Just weird and un-nerving.
I've had the same issue. It always happens after getting off the driveway onto the blacktop. Either turning left or right. I'm usually about 5mph or so. It does it as I touch the gas. Then it goes away. It's happened a handful of times. But random at that and different downward grades.
It did...
I've been busy... give me a bit. Ill do my best to get an detailed answer. The dealer i bought from has an outstanding service dept. They do work on police and state vehicles plus private race cars. None of the other dealers that are local do that.
Ok... so you guys are experts. Rather than trained ASE certified mechanics or people our family have delt with for 20 years plus and have more actual experience than you two. Okay ? sure..... ill be sure to come back to this forum in the future for all my questions... ya i think not...
Im going to driving from CA to Oregon through medford. My sons in Oregon... it snows through the pass and where he's at. I'm trying to get prepared in case it shows bad enough to need chaining up. Rather than getting caught with my pants down.
Since the dealer stressed the point of screwing up...
Ill just ask my neighbor who is a tech or even ask the service writer weve known for 20 yesrs. Rather than guess the reason.... I'd rather have facts rather than guesses as to why no to do something.... screwing up the computer is bad juju. They would have made adjustments to the front if...
When i bought my ranger back in July they said NO CHAINS! It will f$%k up the computers in the truck. The spider wires, if the manual is saying rear only... probably again has to do with the computer/trail control. The rear is a solid axle while the fronts are independent. Totally different...
One of the most important things to consider also. Is the load index.... if you choose a tire with a lower index that lowers your max payload, tow capacity ect.
Thinner sidewalls thicker sidewalls... doesn't matter as long as the tire has the same load index. All manufacturers use different...
Had mine installed the other day, black chrome. Not only myself but others love the tone too! If your looking at the FP exhaust....just do it. You won't regret it. I do think there is not enough videos online showing the kit. I was thinking about doing a quick one. I gotta get the wife to help...
I put the Ford performance cat back kit on. The tone is perfect. Only one video online with an Orange Ranger. I looked and listened to the other kits.. The ford one has the best sound..it is a Borla made kit.
I changed oil at 500 miles. Nothing but oil... dark brown oil. When motors are new before install in vehicle and fluids. They use a break in type of grease. To protect the bearings from damage until the oil gets running through. I plan on changing a couple more times before my 1st 5k service...
Any large pieces of metal in the oil can be signs of a problem. Take the oil with you and the truck to the dealer. Let them asses it. Thsts what your warranties for. Better to be safe than sorry... you'll feel better rather than possibly blowing up the motor.
My Grandfather and Uncle were...
