  1. Oil Catch Can. Yes or No?

When I mentioned the carbon buildup issue to my service manager he replied: "I haven't heard about that" Really? I said. This was after he bragged about his 40 years in the automotive service industry and 20 years with Ford. Of course he knows about the problem but played dumm. Sorry to hear...
  2. Oil Catch Can. Yes or No?

I was told an after-market catch can system voids the warranty. Fords attempt to improve gas mileage with direct fuel injection is lost after the carbon build up on the valves. I too will be installing a catch can when Ford comes out with their own "catch can" carbon remedy.

  5. Odd spare tire

Just check my spare. I assumed the spare would be the same tire size since this is a truck not a car. Fortunately my spare is the same size (265/65/17) However, it's on a steel rim not aluminum which I can live with.
  6. SHADOW BLACK Ranger Club Thread

Just purchased the LXT 4X4 off roader. Works and performs like a full size truck. I'm getting 22.5 MPG highway/city/mountain. Very pleased with this given the mileage complaints. I'll be adding a front grill and topper for the back.
