    Planning on buying a truck bed camper, the tailgate will either be folded or removed all together for this to work, which obviously means the backup camera will be useless.     BDS aftermarket intrusion kit will fix this, only $80 and a 3ish hour install with basic tools. Also would allow you to put 33's on if you wanted ;)

    Those BLIS radar units are identical to what other 2015-2019 Fords with BLIS use, so they can be had for <$100 on ebay easily, doubt it will shave any more than off the price if the Junkyard knows that they're doing.

    I've been talking with Randy from UTE LTD about getting a flatbed on my XLT, and the big and really only issue is the BLIS taillight, as he said. "Removing the tail light assembly will throw codes and alarms all over the place. Hopefully we will have a fix for that soon. In the mean time...

    @Asu4040 BDS came out with a slim intrusion kit $80, fixes the problem easy peasy. So much more clearance! Still waiting on getting my kit, but install looks pretty easy with their PDF guide. You will need a saws all or angle grinder to cut the front one out, but uses factor hardware to install...
