Yes...they had the same display when they went bad. Not a full black screen, just this weird 1/3 screen. Yes, the touch screen continues to work...just can't see the icon selection.

Nothing aftermarket on it. Everything is stock. The screen apps still respond even when it is blacked out...meaning it still works if you know where the icons.

My thought/worry was that it is a wiring or voltage issue. I guess I will go down that rabbit hole! Thank you all for the input and the recommendation for other units...I appreciate it. One thing to note...each time this has happened it has been after a hot day (say 90+).
