Well, after putting 1k+ miles on my 2019 ranger after the tranny rebuild, it still ran a bit rough. I swapped out the DPFE EGR sensor and things smoothed out nicely.
I had my 2019 ranger tranny rebuild @ 87k miles. After the break-in period (~1k miles) it still ran a bit rough. I replaced the sensor and things smoothed out nicely.
Repair cost: $4500. Attached is what was replaced. Here is the letter I sent to Ford customer relationship. I don't expect any positive response besides corporate hand-wringing.

A couple years ago, Frod came up with a programming change to boost horsepower up to 300 for the ranger. I wonder how many people had that done that also had these tranny issues earlier in mileage rather than later.
