It 's takes just a couple of minutes to switch between tonneau and soft topper. I found out about this after watching videos on YouTube about this setup
yup. it's great. I love the look and feel of a tonneau for everyday use, but when my wife goes to horse and dogs shows as a vender we now have more carrying capacity then she ever dreamed of
I just bought this on Labor Day so I don't have numbers yet other than the dash is saying 26.1. I'm very happy with that. This whole thread just just to get some insight into tweaking out just a little bit more MPG. I've learned from you folks it's no magic formula just common sense driving
Thanks for all insight. Most of this I do already, especially when towing. I'm the guy in the right lane doing 60 in a 75. I let all those speed demons speed past and chuckle when ther'e pulled over a couple of miles down the road.
We have a Prius and we love it. Totally different vehicle. That's like comparing apples to oranges. This Ranger gets the best gas mileage I've ever had in a truck and can tow 7500 lbs. I love this truck, and my wife's little "Tinkerbell"
Just like my bike, I always want to make it just the way I like it. On this rig I added running boards, we've ordered the Fas-Top Traveler, and I built a nice sled bed for the wife. I was just hoping maybe just a few simple steps to help squeeze a few more MPG's outa this beauty. You guys gave...
For me this 4x2 Ranger with the 2.3L is the best of both world's. Good gas mileage in a sharp looking truck, and a big enuff truck when we have our toy hauler hooked you
When going long distance with this rig, we'll be towing our toy hauler with our bikes in it, or the wife will be hauling the toy hauler to dog shows. So gas mileage goes out the window. Thanks all for all your insight, I really do appreciate all of it.
Thanks for your reply AZScorpion. I did a search and couldn't much about MPG. I certainly don't want to beat a dead horse. For now I'll just drive it like a Grandpa, get street tires when I need new tires, keep it tuned with regular oil changes, and just ride down the road with a huge smile in...
How to squeeze out better gas mileage? What can I add to my 2020 4x2 FX2 with the 2.3L to help squeeze out better mileage. Probably a K&N air filter, but what else?
My needs are pretty simple. I wanted a vehicle that could tow more than 6,000 lbs and got better gas mileage than our SUV. I found it in this Ranger. I love the look of this truck, and we both couldn't believe how it rode down the road when test driving it, it doesn't feel like a truck. And a...
To confirm you have the factory Tow Package, you will have the tubular steel hitch with a 2” receiver that curves around the spare tire and the 7-pin wire harness connector to the left of the license plate
I know I have to tow pkg, cause the dealership produced to original paperwork, and the...
