yes it was. it's on the inboard side of the frame rail under the driver's seat. it's a fairly large connector.

Had a Ranger in the shop the other day for all brake lights inoperative. Ended up being a pin fit issue on a ground wire located on a main connector inside the frame rail on the driver's side.

I have the same rattle on the passenger side. I do mostly interior/NVH jobs at my dealership. It sounded to me like something isn't jiving with/in the door panel but it doesn't bother me enough to tear off the door panel and investigate.
