These things are heavy, enough room for the winch. But mounting surfaces are weak, one bull with a shackle and these things bend. Need to reinforce them if you will be doing heavy puling. Use the hitch to pull people out.
So I’m gonna a be putting a 4th drive shaft. 3rd CV axle and 2nd front differential carrier (used, low mileage, 30k). I am at, About 61k and I’ve went through 2 updates on the rough country 6” lift kit. Now I have to applaud rough country, they helped every single time sending me free parts to...
Here is my latest, been thinking a lot on different set ups but here is what I came up with. These 35X13.50 17 maxxis are huge. Side by side they are as big as super swamper irok radial 36x13.50 15 that are on my 1989 Hilux. I’ll take more pictures today, but here is what that looks like. First...
Here is my 35” on fuel 17” with RC 6” and 1.5” wheel spacers. Thinking about going with 17x10 -40 35”x13.50, next without wheel spacers. Hoping for them to not stick out as much without spacers but over all pretty good set up. It’s nice to be able to see your wheels when wheeling.
It’s not keyed, 180 degree spin wouldn’t do much as you have to take this part off before you can replace center carrier bearing. So in essence, there is infinite potential positions.
It’s not keyed and not marked. Also went to every single drive shaft shops. They told me because of the 8 bolt flange, they can’t balance it. One shop took it in just to tell me it’s out of balance, didn’t do anything, told me my carrier bearing is out of whack.
Hello,
I have a 2019 ford ranger lariat, I was replacing a center carrier bearing on rear drive shaft. When I took it apart I realized I messed up and forgot to mark mating pieces. I put it back together and of course I have now a vibration from the drive shaft. So I’ve been looking around...
