  1. Appreciation Post

I’m so happy I’m using my 05 dodge Dakota as my company vehicle that pulls my trailer and my lifted 21 ranger is my fun truck. I love that truck. Lift wheels and tires are done. I scratched it the other day and not a single F was given. I don’t work by Ranger unless I need the four-wheel-drive...
  2. 285/70/17 on stock wheels

Please read my post again. I wrote I wanted more sidewall.
  3. 285/70/17 on stock wheels

Yes I wanted a higher perhaps you misread my post?
  4. 285/70/17 on stock wheels

The crash bars are gone as of today and I had to trim the deflector under the bumper. 1.5 inch spacers and the stance is bad ass. It justifies those rough country gender lares now. I didn’t want the low profile tire many are going for now. I wanted a beefy sidewalk mud look. Plus most of my...
  5. Tire Size Help

Yeah because the mud tire is about 10” of tread compared to an ATV crash bars are gone now completely and I also had to trim the air deflector under the bumper but I wanted that beefy sidewalk mudder look. On stock rims I doubt removing the crash bars would have been enough. Again with mud vs...
  6. What did you do to your Ranger today?

That sounds like a really good mod for an old guy like me. During the day my distance is not far out of 20/20 but at night that all changes when driving down dark roads.
  7. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Yeah I don’t know what they were thinking with that weak inverter. Maybe to check off a box. It won’t even power a bucket head shop vac. I’m looking at inverters as well. Not sure about how many watts but I’m thinking 3000 should be about right. Anything over 2800 heats up wiring in a house...

  9. Tire Size Help

As far as offset goes from what I’ve read as the rim is offset you gain clearance on the inside. I put 285 70/17 my tires +12mm offset rim on my truck yesterday and had to trim my Rough Country fender flares right away. Only on the inside so I used my occilating saw and did that in . Today I’m...
  10. 285/70/17 on stock wheels

I have 1.5” inch spacers on my truck. Installed 285 70/17 mud tires with +12mm offset rims on my truck yesterday and had to trim my Rough Country fender flares right away. The tires are abut 32 1/4” high. So I used my oscillating saw and did that in two minutes. Today I’m going to trim both...
  11. Fitting 285/75/17

Is it the 75 that will rub?
  12. Tire Size Help

That sounds pretty good to me. I also have the RC 3.5” leveling lift kit on my 21 sport 4x4. Are you running wheel spacers? Factory rims or after market offset rims? If so what is the offset? Any help is appreciated.
  13. Fit 35s?

With a 3.5” inch lift leveveling kit most say it allows 33’s. What do you think?
  14. Looking for guidance on new tires/lift/level

I’m installing a Rough Country 3.5” leveling lift kit. I want to install 33s. Do you see a problem with that?
