Can somebody please tell me where the Australian 2017 Ford Ranger temp gauge gets its signal from. For example is it the exhaust gas sensor, or coolant temp sensor, or cylinder head temp sensor. Or a combination of all. My gauge has a slight movement, and reading a little low.
Thanks
I am still unsure which two wires to splice for my toggle switch please.
Note, the Australian PX2 Ranger wires in the console switch are
White/brown
White/green
Blue
Light purple
Purple/black
Brown x2
Thanks again
WOW!, thank you very much for all of that. I will need time to process it all and probably come back with more questions, haha.
We do have this workshop manual here in New Zealand. Do you think this will show wiring, maybe...
This guy done it with an F150, that why I think if I could identify these two wires, its worth a go. Anybody know what the wires are specific to the start stop, purpose, colour, pin out? https://www.f150forum.com/f118/writeup-add-toggle-switch-auto-start-stop-344672/
Hey, thanks for this. Surly the American unit as the same as the Australian one. As long as the year is the same? Is yours a PX2 2017? Can you please send link.
Thank you very much
I want to reverse the auto start stop button. So it is off by default. Then when I push the button on the centre console switch it turns the feature back on. So the switch will have an orange off light by default when the vehicle is first turned on.
There are no start stop eliminators available...
