My apology I thought that you were flat towing your vehicle i.e. behind an RV. If that were the case (as is was mine) Ford will not honor the warranty. I don't know their policy of flat towing for short distances behind a wrecker. I did not mean to confuse the issues. My apology.

Ford will do their best to not warranty this if the vehicle has been towed. They will refer you to Ford Servide bulletin 22-7086. Best of luck.
