So something I found interesting, may be nothing, however I cleared codes, and ran for DTCs with both headlights unplugged and there were these DTCs:
I then cleared the DTCs, plugged the headlights back in, and re-ran, and noticed there was a secondary IPC DTC, and the RCM DTC slightly changed...
@airline tech Good morning,
When looking at the BCM As-Built file FCIM Configuration shows differently, it shows present, but the last set of digits show "0178" should I try changing it to "0078"?
My BCM 726-44-01 (Vehicle is XL stock, but since the display is not stock, should it be changed...
Airline Tech had already had me look at that unplug and plug back in and it unfortunately didn’t do anything. I guess I will see if my Car Insurance Company will approve a replacement FCIM since that seems to be the last thing that hasn’t been checked. I appreciate the help! Happy to have found...
Looks like more than likely it was this one
https://parts.lakelandford.com/p/Ford_2020_Ranger/Engine-Compartment-Wiring-Harness/75838156/KB3Z14290ADB.html
Got it, so if I don’t have rear parking sensors (I do have a rear camera) there wouldn’t be a connector?
Also I went through the list of things that were replaced electrical wise and the list shows “Wire harness engine compartment 4WD”, was replaced. Could there have been an issue with...
Hey, so I think I may have found the issue, but wanting to check with you before I go down this rabbit hole, in my passenger compartment fuse box, I do not have a connected plugged into the J4/2280E BCM inlet, when I was looking up pictures of other 2020 ford rangers fuse boxes, it looks like...
Got it, I am waiting to hear back from Infotainment on how to handle the APIM portion; I still have no HVAC control at all nor outside temperature, was just looking around and noticed this data related to climate control and it seems to be all disabled, is that supposed be that way?
I have...
So the insurance company approved a new APIM, however when I installed and reran ForScan, the as-built file had all completely different codes (then the screenshot I shared on page 3 of this thread) and now my on-screen climate controls no longer show (still no outside temperature, and the FCIM...
Finally got it back and installed; here are the codes it is throwing in general:
(OK) [12:31:02.252] Disconnected
(WARN) [12:31:05.480] Checking FTDI #1:223230240103...
(OK) [12:31:06.120] Connection to adapter has been established: FTDI #1:223230240103
(OK) [12:31:06.120] Adapter: OBDLink EX...
Yep… they tried to say the other APIMs they have bench tested from 4D Tech and another company “failed” so their technicians will not handle ones from other companies.
It just sucks because all my Insurance company needs is verification if it’s a software issue or if it’s the unit to determine...
I haven’t forgotten, I was just in contact with infotainment.com who at first said they would be willing to diagnose the unit to see if is a software issue or not, but just informed me that they will not bench test it, so I have to wait for them to now ship it back to me.
I’ve seen there are a...

So, I checked/replaced fuse 12 Micro3 7.5A, when I did, I noticed that the fuse I purchased from Advanced Auto is slightly longer than the one installed, I tried looking online to see if there were different lengths just to make sure I wasn’t going crazy, but there aren’t so I am a bit confused...
FCIM is not showing up on the list; I cleared codes; pulled the fused, waited 5 min, and then re-booted the truck here are the codes:

All buttons are in operable, the deer hit the drive side front, they replaced the headlights, radiator and entire front bumper top and bottom pieces. When I did some research, it said that the in some cases the Airbag Control Module has to be reset? not sure if that is something. Ford did not do...
The damage visibly sustained was bumper/headlight/radiator, but apparently from extensive research I’ve been doing, while the airbags didn’t go off, they sometimes have to reset the air bag control module
