FYI. I was getting these same messages on my 2019. What I found is that my negative terminal was very loose. Not for sure why but I pulled it off and cleaned it and reinstalled the cable. I then tightened the terminal and the warning message did not reappear. No new battery was needed.

I have a 2019 earlier model and you are correct. My son has a 2023 XLT and it is missing things that are standard on mine. Electric mirrors, front radar, Start/Stop etc. Figured they were using the chip shortage excuse. Maybe it was an added option.
