  1. Still searching for shimmy resolution post lift

thanks so much Phil for the detailed reply. I will definitely try the alignment adjustments as you noted above. My caster is already really close the the max allowable range on the factory specs. Are you suggesting I try another degree beyond that (about 4.5 degrees?) We did put it up on the...
  2. Still searching for shimmy resolution post lift

doing this today (minus the stock re-install). Will keep you posted.
  3. Still searching for shimmy resolution post lift

I was wondering if it might be a cv issue as well. Seems odd I am getting it at 2.25”, especially when ford is offering the same kit at 2” as an option. Maybe I’ll drop it to 2” and see if that helps. Otherwise, stock stuff is standing by and can be reinstalled if need be, but I really would...
  4. Still searching for shimmy resolution post lift

Yes. Fox claims they come set for 3” of lift. We did not change any preload but ended up with about 2.25 (even on both sides).
  5. Still searching for shimmy resolution post lift

Good afternoon, I have a set of Fox 2.0 coilovers installed. They netted me about 2.25" of lift after settling. I also installed the rear fox shocks. We did not do UCA's, but since we are at 2.25" of lift (despite Fox claiming they are set for 3"), I did not think that was an issue or concern...
  6. Stock measurement hub ctr to edge of flare

    Much appreciated!!!!
  7. Stock measurement hub ctr to edge of flare

Hi all, Can anyone tell me what the measurement is from the center of the hub to the bottom edge of the fender flare? I completely forgot to measure my own before the lift and now am looking for a baseline to be sure the coil overs get set correctly. I have an Lariat 4x4 crew cab, NON fx4...
  8. Carrier Bearing bracket

Thanks Phil. Are yours shifted all the way to the rear end side of the slotted mounting holes as well? If I am getting a slight vibration would it make sense to try to adjust this back towards the center a bit and see if it improves, or best to not touch it?
  9. Carrier Bearing bracket

Thanks Phil. The truck had about 35 miles on it when I picked it up. It was on the dealers lot. hil.
  10. Carrier Bearing bracket

A friend and we’ll experienced mechanic did the lift at his shop. He did not move this bracket. The lift was only 2.5-3” fox coil overs. I have not seen or heard of anyone else having to move the bearing with a small lift/leveling kit. Nothing changed in the rear (no lift in the back) other...
  11. Carrier Bearing bracket

Hi all, trying to sort out a very minor vibration in the steering wheel post lift, repeated balancing and alignments. I thought it was tires, but after a few balances it is still an issue (maybe a defective tire, but exploring all options at the moment). In crawling under the truck, everything...
  12. Fox 2.0 Coilovers & Fox 2.0 Rear Shocks Available for Pre-Order!

Thanks for the input. I'll try swapping the tires out back to front and see if it makes a difference. I did notice the installer inflated them back up to 40 psi again. Dropping that back to 30 seemed to help a lot. at this point it is almost completely gone. I'll keep fine tuning, but my guess...
  13. Fox 2.0 Coilovers & Fox 2.0 Rear Shocks Available for Pre-Order!

Thanks Jason. I took some time this morning and double checked all torques on the install, and everything was just as tight as the day we installed it and was to spec. No issue with the end links either. I had my wheels/tires road force balanced yet again, and they did find one was off about a...
  14. Fox 2.0 Coilovers & Fox 2.0 Rear Shocks Available for Pre-Order!

Thanks. I do have the alignment sheet, which I’ll post here. It looks like everything came back into tolerance, but maybe someone with more knowledge can add more input from the numbers. Otherwise, I guess I can re align and re balance, and if neither work, then UCA’s? A little frustrating if I...
  15. Fox 2.0 Coilovers & Fox 2.0 Rear Shocks Available for Pre-Order!

Thanks Cape Cruiser. They are stock wheels. I can’t see where any weights have fallen off, but it is possible. I guess another trip to get them balanced will sort that out. Any other input or ideas is very welcome!
  16. Fox 2.0 Coilovers & Fox 2.0 Rear Shocks Available for Pre-Order!

I was able to put about 750 miles on my fox set up over the last dew days, along with my new Falken AT3W's. I had everything aligned post lift, and tires balanced. On the first leg of our trip, I acquired a slight shake in the steering wheel, mainly at highway speeds of 50-80mph. I immediately...
  17. Fox 2.0 Coilovers & Fox 2.0 Rear Shocks Available for Pre-Order!

Installed the kit today. Finished late, so no good photos to share yet (they will come soon!) Thrilled might be an understatement. Yes, it looks great and was just the level look I was hoping for. But more importantly the ride and handling is exceptional. On road manners are far better. Still...
  18. Fox 2.0 Coilovers & Fox 2.0 Rear Shocks Available for Pre-Order!

Thanks! can't wait to get this mounted up tomorrow on my own truck. I was questioning my 265/65/18 tire choice, but I think it will be just right after seeing yours, and I won't have to worry about rubbing.
  19. Fox 2.0 Coilovers & Fox 2.0 Rear Shocks Available for Pre-Order!

Your truck looks awesome! Nicely done. I am installing my Fox kit tomorrow. A couple questions for you: Is that the preset 3” height or did you adjust at all? Did you do UCA’s also or just stock with the coil overs? Any issues getting the alignment back in spec? And last, are those 265/70/17...
  20. 275/65/18 ko2 fitment
