I LOVE this setup! I have a full emergency kit in my Subaru and I want to have a copy of it in the Ranger. This looks like a fantastic way to make it happen.
I will also echo, how did you attach the fire extinguisher? Also, I see that you have the spray-in bed liner. Any issues with installing...
Either Lightning Blue or Magnetic. I've always wanted a blue vehicle, it's one of my favorite colors and yet it hasn't happened. But the Magnetic seems very similar to the DSG that my F150 was in, and I'm nostalgic. How's that for a non-specific answer? hahah
Haha fair enough. I ruled out the Ridgeline and the Frontier pretty quickly. Having owned Toyotas (and a Lexus) and now two Subarus I trust the quality and longevity of Japanese cars. If I was looking for something that rarely left the road, and that could also work as a daily driver they might...
That all defiantly makes sense. I’m still debating about the sliding rear glass. On one hand I wanted one the whole time I had my F150, but on the other it adds another package that costs quite a bit. Do you have one in your truck? How often do you use it?
The Ridgeline. So awhile? But it’s...
That explains how they did that. I'm also curious what other differences there are with the SuperCab vs Crew (other than space). As you said the seating angle, but what about the under-seat storage, or rear USB's?
For me? No. Right now I live in the city, so the smaller the better. Also, I...
As long as it's useable on occasion. I sat in the back, and I'm about 5'10/5'9 and I *barely* fit.
What's resale value? I drive cars until they die. haha. But seriously, I plan on keeping what I buy for over 10 years (hopefully longer) so that's why I do so much research first (that's also why...
Hi everyone, sorry about the wait. I have had a very busy week.
Thank you all for your feedback, and I’m pretty sure I responded to everyone here.
I’m actually really glad you said this. I thought the transmission in the Toyota felt odd too. I even said something to the sales guy. I figured...
I'm curious about this as well. When I had my F150, it was an XL and I ended up putting higher end mirrors on it for the look. I'm looking at ordering an XLT, but I really like the painted mirror caps on the Lariet. I'll be curious to see how this looks like for the DIY people. I'm a big fan of...
That's a good idea. I should look into that, or even renting one. That's a really good idea!
That's really fantastic to hear. And good info in the diesel. I'm glad though that you're enjoying your Ranger. This is very helpful. Thank you all. :)
I get about 30 in the Subie, so that's why it's staying my Daily. Plus if/when I get a truck, I'll probably move the basket over the truck, and I was getting 32-33 before I put the basket and spare on the roof.
My F-150 was in the mid-teens, so 21-24 is a big improvement over that.
Hi all!
My name is Laura, and I miss having a truck.
I daily drove a lowered 2007 F150 for about 10 years. It was as base model as could be, but I had some great memories in that thing, and I just miss the practicality of having a truck.
Currently, I drive a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek, and...
Thank you for the add! This is my first post, but I've been reading through the forums here for a while. I still haven't purchased my Ranger, but I'm leaning towards it (I've test driven the Ranger, Tacoma, and Colorado). I daily drove a lowered F150 for about 10 years and I miss having a truck...
