Adapter/coupler/connector. lol
I have sent a message via "contact us" on the website.
It leaks on all 4 splits in the adaptor fully seated over the exhaust. I believe the ID is slightly larger than the OD of the DP.
I have spoken to many people in my FB groups and forums. It seems as the the coupler(s) that come with the catted DP do not fit snugly and leak. I have personally tried to adjust it several times with no luck. To be clear, it is the DP to Coupler not the coupler to exhaust. That end fits snugly...
It was a shame and just an unnecessary argument! lol A used Long block is only like $3000. lol
I have since installed the CRP 57mm turbo and getting street /dyno tuned starting this week! I askd OZ tuning about E85, but our fuel system won't keep up with the additional airflow. unless.....I want...
Thoughts.

I ended up just swapping the buttons and wiring out of the Ranger into the ES wheel. Left long pigtails from the paddles to wire in the future. I ran out of time, but I am going to check continuity through the 5 spare pins on the plug. only need two I believe.
So you successfully installed the paddles from the Explorer into the Ranger. Said it bolts up? Or you got the Explorer steering wheel to bolt on and work?
If there is not extra wiring capability, i wonder if you could repurpose other wires for buttons that are pretty much unused OR a relay to toggle between paddles and one of the OE switches...if that makes sense.
Nice!
Did you figure out if you can run the wires through the clock plug? I would like the method of cutting the holes, tapping into that plug and running wires directly to the shifter.
I wonder if you can purchase just the paddles? presumably yes through Fmco...$$$$
I love this project. I am FBO, big turbo, E85 and HP tuners offers a trans brake. But, to initiate the Trans Brake you need to have paddle shift (hold - + simultaneously) while pressing the brake and taping the throttle. Also, would prove useful in roll racing. Your photos and pinouts will prove...
You're really going to continue to argue after literally posted screen shots of the conversion and the FORD 10r80 part number breakdown. Ford may be doing something different with the 6 series (6r140) then. Which has nothing to do with the 10r80...but, the 10r80 is 590ft lb or 800 Nm. Just like...
What are you talking about! lol Newton Meter (Nm) is an alternative measurement similar to kmh and mph. The 10r80 is rated for 590 Ft lbs OR 800 Nm. You said 800ft lbs which was incorrect.
I don't really give a fuck if Ford wants to warranty anything. Nor do I care about anyone's insignificant thoughts and opinions on their warranty policy. Once again, if people can overcome their illiteracy and read. This thread in not about warranty. lmao
