This is the 2nd time for me. The dealer says they have ordered new seats instead of having a local shop try and refit existing. I will be curious to see if they will be compete seats or just covers. I will ask to see them before they install.
I went through this with my seats last May. Ford did authorize a local shop to refit the existing covers. The local shop stated that the foam material Ford used was too thin so they added or replaced the foam. They were fine for awhile but the bagginess in the seating surface has since returned...
Not sure where the DEEZEE package came from as I have been told by DEEZEE as recently as 12/9 that their assist is not going to be available until early spring. Knockoff??
My build date was 3/25/19. Delivery 4/12. I reported my seat issue to the dealer on 4/22 with 555 miles. Replacement of the seat covers was denied by Ford however they did authorize the dealer to use a local auto upolstery shop to refit them. They looked and felt good for a while but the issue...
Don't forget to check the front end for bugs. A massive yellow bug of some sort, and a million others ran into my front bumper at about 75 or 80 on a road trip. All cleaned off except the yellow bugger. Extensive elbow grease with wax and cleaner would not do it. Definately etched in through the...
Having all the necessary equipment to regularly rotate tires as I have done for many years, I performed my 1st Ranger rotation yesterday. Seemed strange one lugnut on each axel was extremely tight compared to others with removal using standard impact gun. I only use a quality torque wrench set...
Perfect description and my sentiments exactly!! In 48 years of working on my own, friends and kids vehicles I have never heard an engine emmitting that kind of buzzing that would be considered a normal characteristic. I understand that electronics and technology today is state of the art but if...
Good job, that worked! Now that you are so good at it If you want to try it again to confirm this annoyance and can move closer to the module directly behind the center of the sound dampening cover, tucked under the cowling is what they told me was the pressure regulator containing the fuel...
I'm really surprised there isn't more buzz in this forum about the annoying buzz. It is definately not pebbles as I do not have the FX4 with skid plates and have not driven in any gravel. Just turned 2K and the buzz is there every day. Can't believe it is normal! Do I just need to crank the...
I have the same issue as described in all the previous posts. It is very annoying and to me should not be something accepted as normal. It did not start until I hit 1000 miles and I noticed it right away. I made an appointment at the dealer and it was the first time they had been confronted with...
