Keep in mind that the owners manual recommends locking out 9th and 10th gear (I actually lock out 8th too when pulling our 6000# travel trailer). It also recommends to tow at 62 mph best I remember (I cruise at 65 mph in 7th gear for 100's of miles on end... get around 10-11 mpg with the TT).
I was trying to decide between Falken Wildpeaks or Cooper AT3's, but ended up saving some money and went with the Cooper Road & Trail AT. Tires are great in all conditions so far. I have been on very tough winter roads this year with no issues and they also are great on dry and wet roads...
Purchased my 2022 in June of last year. Took about 4 months to get to 10,000 miles. Currently at about 35,000 after 16 months. Daily driving and towing the TT a lot. Glad I snagged that 100,000 mile extended warranty.
I have a 29' TT dry weight usually weighs around 6000 lbs. You should have: WDH and a Brake Controller at a bare minimum. I like to lock out gears 8-10 and stay in 7th at highway speeds. I keep it at 65 mph on the highways (even though the owners manual says stay below 62 mph). Runs right...
Took the Camper Trailer on its second voyage and its first out of state voyage! Everything went great. Kept her in 7th gear the whole 600 mile round trip. Dash showed 10.2 MPG. Pretty happy with the trip and the Ranger pulls around 6000-6500 lbs pretty well.
