I too had a 90 SHO! One of the most fun cars I've ever owned, but yea, the quality of the car around that engine was sad. You didn't mention clutch... I guess you avoided that. Mine failed before 50K.

5A unused spare in slot 35 of the cabin fuse box (Body Control Module) to left of steering column is the answer here.
I need a key-on circuit to tap as well. In my case it is to signal a DC-DC charger for a LiFPO4 (lithium) battery used for camping. I need mine inside the cab, so this is a bit much. I thought it would be easy to find fuse in the BCM (left of steering column) fuse box that works. I have so far...
I bet ctechbob is correct. I tow a 14' teardrop camper and service it myself, bearings and brakes. I have to back off the brakes to get the drum off, which they had to do to repack bearings. When reinstalled, I "tighten" the brakes until the drum rubs, then back off 1 or 2 clicks...
I learned a lot from this thread … but I did not find a comprehensive guide … so I hope this is. Sorry no pics.

Yes … not the fuse part … but a place to tap a line that is hot when the key is on (called Start/Run I believe). The charger has an input for that. It will not charge the output (accessory) battery unless the line is hot.
2019 XLT Supercab that I use almost exclusively towing a teardrop camper. I am about to get a DC-to-DC charger that I will install inside the cab to charge a lithium battery, also inside the cab. I have 2 100 Ah LiFePO4 batteries for the camper and already keep one safely strapped in the cab...
Yes, bottoms off, seat backs are still on. I mostly camp solo with this truck and need all the space possible. I took driver’s side off, saw the giant vent and stopped there. One drive showed the noise is too much to take, so I put it back on. Not sure if the vents are on both sides but probably...
In hindsight I wish I would have heated the plastic connectors before trying to seat the pins. Now that I feel damage may have been done, I'm going to hard-wire. Maybe this thread update can help someone in the future. Thanks everyone.
2019 Ranger with factory tow pkg. I am in middle of install of the Ford TBC (VKB3Z-2C006-A with both black and grey center brake light connectors), have a problem, found this thread.
Everything under the dash was easy. My problem is the brake light connectors themselves. My brake light connector...
