Thanks everyone for the help. I took my axle to a shop today and sure enough I messed it up good. Pulled both ends apart inside the boots and broke the c-clip on the axle side. They rebuilt it for $80 and about 45 minutes. Got the truck all finished up tonight and getting an alignment...

I just removed the axle and I’m going to see if the experts can tear apart and rebuild it. There is a place across the street from my work that does it all the time. If not I’ll just buy a new axle and try to fix this one for a spare.

It doesn’t look like in the picture but it has been all the way in and tight at the hub and the other end. But the knuckle was and upper arm were to far away from each other. The only thing stopping it was the axle, like something isn’t right inside one or both boots.

There is a place by where I work that rebuilds cv axles everyday, I’ll take it to them and hopefully they can fix it quick. I’m going out of town Wednesday night/Thursday morning, hopefully it all comes together. Thanks again

A little bit of an update. Just got done with the driver side. Everything went super smooth, just took the axle nut off and it was easy. Even got the crash bars out of the way. I’m still having issues with the passenger side. Looks like the axle is definitely the problem.

Yep, I totally agree with you on the stage 3 video. I watched it and a couple others. None of the ones I watched mentioned taking the axle nut off. I’m currently working on the drivers side to see if it goes any better. I’m mean it can’t get any worse, right? Lol

Yeah I tried that, axle is fully seated at both ends. It just seems like the axle is to long now. I may have it rebuilt tomorrow and see if anything is wrong inside. I don’t know, I’m at a lost. I’ve installed quite a few lifts and level kits but they’ve all been on straight axle trucks and...

I tried to upload a picture but it won’t. The knuckle and stud are probably 3 or 4 inches apart, not even close.

Not the ball joint from the arm, just the stud into the knuckle. But I can’t get the knuckle back into the stud, they are to far apart. I’m thinking maybe I don’t have the axle back together right.
