  1. You have 0 km to empty

Definetly not recommended. I ran a tractor dry when I was a kid— my grandfather made me prime the thing which left a lasting impression. I got in a bind one morning out here at work— the power was out to the two stations I normally use and the next fuel is nearly 50 miles from there. I...
  2. You have 0 km to empty

With my F450, you’d better be ready to push or walk at 30 miles to empty. at least you don’t have to hand prime each injector…
  3. 110V pure or modified sine wave?

Modified. The outlet in my ā€˜17 (350) and ā€˜20 (450) both were. They were both also limited to 300W or so. If it were pure sine wave, you can be damn sure the marketing department would have noted it.
  4. “Pathetic quality”: RV dealers are fed up with what manufacturers are producing

I haven’t kept up with Lance since they were acquired by Thor (same company that put out some problematic airstreams after buying those guys), but pre-buyout (2017ish?) they were great trailers that would pair well with a Ranger in the smaller versions. Agree strongly with the fiberglass eggs—...
  5. These might be the 2023 Ranger colors

It’s not surprising there won’t be many new colors with an imminent model change coming. That said, the Azure grey in a contender for me if it’s available on a Tremor.
  6. Anybody else has a weird obsession with bluetooth speakers?

I have one made by Anker that’s 4 or 5 years old. It’s a nice size at ~2x2x6, cheap (still going at $21 on Amazon), waterproof, the battery lasts forever, and works pretty well as a speaker phone for conference calls at work. Perfect for a knock around in my work bag.
  7. Renewed SiriusXM today....

I had Sirius/XM for years…traveling places where the radio doesn’t even get static it was a Godsend. It just got more and more expensive and the channel I really liked (Outlaw Country) got more and more overtly political. It’s not that I mind political music, per se, but midwit level overt...
  8. New Members Introduce Yourself!

Heh. While the currentRangers have a higher payload than the last F150 I had (ā€˜13) I think over 3000 lbs of pin weight/19000 lbs empty might be a bit spicy for a Ranger. Probably a bit of trouble with cab clearance as well… The good news is I can set it up to tow behind the fifth wheel...
  9. New Members Introduce Yourself!

Howdy! I’m Mark in Dallas, TX. I’m Ranger curious/on the fence at the moment. I currently drive a 2020 F450 30 some odd thousand miles a year— 20 some odd thousand of that is from camp to work on terrible oil field lease roads. I’m getting a bit tired of beating the snot out of myself and...
