Continuing from above, this morning my Ranger hesitated when I needed to move fast. This is a dangerous problem IMO. I did reach out to the dealership. The quickest transmission service is three weeks out. It may be I should trade the truck in and let the dealership sort this out. Any thoughts?

What I was told is that they take a used housing and everything else is new. Perhaps a better term is remanufactured. From what I read this should be a much better transmission.
