Hi guys, just a quick update. It was indeed the battery that had the issue. Ford came round and put another battery in and after some hesitation it started up. Even though the X5 was on and connected to the Ranger I think the computer thought that there wouldn't be enough juice in the battery...

Unfortunately not, but there's a dealer not too far that could help with that worst case scenario... I'll give both a try, will report back tomorrow morning! Thanks

Ah I forgot that the States didn't get the '21 Ranger Raptor...! can get the battery checked out tomorrow, but I do find it strange that even when trying to jump it using my X5 (that's on) and there's not even an attempt of of it trying to start, which leads me to believe the blinking LED must...

if the battery has drained can it not be charged at all any more? That's what I meant with died, sorry for the confusion. I've not had it volt tested yet, but can bring the battery to have tested somewhere tomorrow just to be sure... EDIT: Yes both keyfobs work just fine and not getting a key...
