  1. Off-road performance shocks.

I think 1 or 2. My rear is stock height. If you have a bigger lift, just order the 12" travel version.
  2. Off-road performance shocks.

For anyone wanting to get these Fox Performance Series remote reservoir shocks for the rear of their ranger, the guy I've been working with said to just order them and give vehicle info. See pic below...
  3. Off-road performance shocks.

2.5 will ride better. The larger diameter of the valve shims allow them to flex more than 2.0. They might hold a little tighter on the road, but as soon as you hit any bumps or dips, they should be way less harsh.
  4. Off-road performance shocks.

Yup! Got them installed last week and went out for a nice trip Sun-Mon. Had to mount the reservoirs diagonally from the shock body, but no issues. The trip was mostly just rough dirt roads, but had a few spots where it got technical. Went down a series of ledges and drug the hitch on the last...
  5. Off-road performance shocks.

I've had multiple bad experiences with Icon. Will not buy their shocks.
  6. Off-road performance shocks.

The Bilsteins that were on my truck were crappy. They were old and wore tf out. Also, yes they are made for offroad.
  7. Off-road performance shocks.

Exactly right. Radflo may be a smaller company, but they've been around for quite a while. I dont have personal experience with them, but I know lots of people that do and they all love them. The reason I like Fox is because they make 2.0 with remote reservoirs, just not in the coilover...

I really appreciate the input. I agree about AFE. That's why I'm so hesitant about them. Plus in the past the shock bodies had issues with corrosion and the red annodizong fading to pink. I don't want to deal with warranty claims and replacement part shortages, etc. I think Radflo is the way to...
  9. Off-road performance shocks.

Yeah, I'm aware of the laws in Australia. I agree that we don't need much more than a couple inches of lift. All I am doing is leveling it. It will have the same stance as it does currently, just better shocks. I will be doing 60-300 mile offroad trips which is why I'm concerned about fade...
  10. Off-road performance shocks.

I didn't say OME wasn't good. Just overpriced. A pair of their 2.0 coilovers is more expensive than many 2.5 coilovers. They are also designed based in a country that isn't allowed to modify suspension beyond factory specs. IMO King/Fox/Radflo are superior. I have not yet ordered coilovers...
  11. Off-road performance shocks.

I dont have a Tremor. Its a standard 4x4 model. For example, the Icon 2.0 shocks on my friends 4Runner have to be replaced or rebuilt after almost every trip. He had 2 where the piston came off of the shock shaft and 1 that seized. Another one puked out all of its oil. I had 2.0 IFPs on my...
  12. Off-road performance shocks.

The terrain here is extremely rocky. 2.0 shocks will experience fade very quickly without a reservoir. I have experienced this in the past. If youve ever grabbed one of your shocks after driving down a dirt road, youll understand why. I want the ride to stay comfortable and compliant on long...
  13. Off-road performance shocks.

So, I will be doing a decent amount of off-road in my new Ranger. I have a rock crawler for all the real hard stuff, so Im not looking for maximum performance out of the Ranger. Knowing what I know about suspension and knowing the terrain here in Phoenix, AZ, I know that standard 2.0 IFP shocks...
