It appears we have the same problem. the blend door is jammed by a warped box. The cam follower breaks while the actuator still works so no clicking. I tackled it yesterday. Got the hidden screw loose and this fell out... Finally got the screws all out ( the back one was an hour + ordeal) and...

There is one other possibility. Trash in the box jamming the door. That was quoted in an outside source when I was searching for fixes. If I can, when it try the fix, i'll try to snake a cam into the box.
