    Found out it was the control module, local dealer is useless can't trace the part number, can't find it listed for sale online. It's a small box with 18 pins, was completely flooded and corroded.

    Thanks, does the US version ship with break controller built in? Our rangers don't even come with the trailer control module, had to buy that and break controller separately from the car

    Opened up the connector and it was flooded, drained it and sprayed some water displacement oil in there and drained that too. Still facing the same problem though

    That's a good idea, could be the connector is flooded. I'll disassemble it and see how it looks

    Hi, I can't trace which fuse would be responsible for this but after wading in some deep water my trailer is not being recognized by my Ranger Wildtrac 2017 with 3.2 Tdi. I changed the 20 amp trailer tow connector as I could not tell if it was blown I also inspected the 40 amp trailer module...
