I’ve worked in body shops etc. all my life and have never seen this happen. Crazy thing is the plastic is brittle! I tried to pull on it with my Leatherman and the plastic crumbled.
Honestly I completely avoided anything Toyota because every third person in my town has a Tacoma or tundra and I wanted to be able to find my truck in the parking lot.
I picked the Ranger because I’ve almost always drove a Ford or at least had one in my driveway since I started driving and it...
Thanks everyone, appreciate the suggestions and links! Kind of infuriating when your 4 year old window seals look worse than your old 62 Falcons original window seals.
I know this is an old post, but I have a Great Pyrenees mix who hasn't been in my truck yet and the amusing thing is her hair is EVERYWHERE in it. GP hair is like the glitter of the dog world I swear on it.
So after hunting around all day I found a video of this truck being discussed, part of it (the description) is in English and part in Thai.
They didn’t get into the suspension a whole lot but still an interesting video and figured it was worth a share to anyone else who might be curious.
I usually see one when I’m out and about in Sacramento, sometimes more but almost never. It’s almost always Tacomas around here. I honestly wasn’t even totally aware they existed in the US till about six months before I got mine in December. That’s how few of them there in my area.
Yeah, I had a feeling it was a lot like NASCAR where the outside looks like the stock counterpart but the inside is completely custom, I just figured I'd ask on the off chance they're just changing out control arms and adding a four link and I was just missing an easy way out.
I guess I should introduce myself. My names KK, just bought a 2019 Lariat in December, was actually shopping for Mavericks and ended up liking the Ranger a LOT better. Want to do something outside of the norm and lower it here soon, probably with the Belltech kit. I'm an old Mini Trucker and old...
Just FYI I used to be a Volkswagen guy, everyone in our club always got the airbag labels off of our visors with a nail polish remover/water mixture and a micro fiber rag... You can probably google the exact mixture (It's been years, I don't remember exactly) but it worked really well. Maybe...
Yeah, I had them in My 2015 Fusion and wasn't a fan of them in that either. Just personal preference I guess. I bought it used or I would have ordered it without honestly... (Cars that wreak like bad cologne go cheap so I went for it) My main issue is backing out of parking spots, and sunrise...
How hard was it? Do I need to bypass anything electrical so I don't throw codes or anything? My Lariat has them and I hate them around sunrise or sunset with my tinted windows. I honestly wish they had an on/off switch.
