  1. Iowa Sold: Lightforce switch panel

Looking to find a new home for the Lightforce switch fascia I bought and never installed before I went to the dark side and traded my Ranger in for an F-150... I'm asking $75+shipping as it's brand new - I never installed it at all... PM me for PayPal details if interested, I'll drop it in the...
  2. Towing Package: It's more than just a hitch and some wires.

Damn, can I install a draw-tite underneath my Ford tow package hitch? The extra tongue weight capacity would come in handy - my travel trailer is a little nose heavy, weighs in at 620lbs tongue weight (about 14% of overall weight), so if we ever go longer distance and need to put more stuff in...
  3. Clearview Towing Mirror Review

Mine have all the same splices and stuff, but it was all tucked/jammed in behind the rubber piece. Yea, if the packaging looked rough as well, you got refurbs or something - I was extremely surprised by how well mine were packaged...
  4. Clearview Towing Mirror Review

Not to keep arguing back and forth, but if that's what yours looks like then something. went. wrong. somewhere. Clearview install is just as clean (it is sticking out a little further in my pic because I pulled it out to disconnect and take the pic). @Big Blue - all of their mirrors are made...
  5. Clearview Towing Mirror Review

Speaking from experience, if you had to fish extra wires into the vehicle you did something wrong. All the extra wires stay behind the molded rubber piece, on the exterior of the truck - the Clearview mirror is just as clean of a plug-n-play as the oem mirror is. As for longevity, I've only had...
  6. Clearview Towing Mirrors

Glad the new pair worked out for ya, Grumpy! I must've missed the instructions about adding a little lube - will be doing that once it stops raining today, cuz they did get a little stiff to move....
  7. Clearview Towing Mirrors

Grumpaw, are you my doppelganger? Family and I literally took our new camper out this weekend for a shakedown and I was VERY glad I had these mirrors! Tried only extending them to the midway point at first - ended up having to extend them further out to see around it, but didn't think to take...
  8. Clearview Towing Mirrors

If you look up at the beginning of the thread, the company is based out of Australia - but they have a US distribution warehouse that they're gonna start carrying them in soon-ish. Most of us who have them already have been working with the company to get them from Australia
  9. Clearview Towing Mirrors

I've had mine installed for just under a month now and I love them! Haven't had any issues at all - install was easy, they fit and look great.
  10. Clearview Towing Mirrors

Unfortunately, like mic19's guide shows, each functionality taps in at different locations in the vehicle, and the power fold button is part of the power adjust module in the dash, so if you don't already have that, that's an extra purchase needed as well... as I'm sure you've seen in these...

They also have dimensions on the one picture too - basically, the overall size is about the same, but it's just rotated from horizontal to vertical.... I compared to my original mirrors, the furthest edge stayed about the same in the normal driving position
  12. Clearview Towing Mirrors

I don't at the moment, but they have a few pics on their website from another truck if those will work. https://www.clearviewmirrorsusa.com/towing-mirrors/ford-ranger-north-america/
  13. Clearview Towing Mirrors

They carry multiple configurations in Australia, so I'm assuming they will here as well, so you should be able to get ones that match only the options your current mirrors have. No need to spend extra money for features your truck isn't wired for, cuz they won't work without the extra wiring.

  15. Clearview Towing Mirrors

I don't see why they wouldn't - if they're already sending stuff on a ship/plane, they might as well do a variety of options if there's a chance they can sell em. If you look around on the Aussie website, they have a PDF that compares the Original and NextGen versions with dimensions, and they...
  16. Clearview Towing Mirrors

Managed to get the video in with minimal trimming - surprised myself with that one :whew:
  17. Clearview Towing Mirrors

Snapped a bunch of pictures in various states of extended/normal, folded/unfolded, left/right... Hope this helps. Took a video as well, to show the lights, will try to post that next.
  18. Clearview Towing Mirrors

They're made to swap out with your stock mirrors, so whatever controls you have already is what would control them. I'll post more pics shortly.
  19. Clearview Towing Mirrors

The white one pulling the trailer? That's the "original" design, they do have that for the Ranger. No guarantees what all versions they're planning to stock here in the states, but if you go to the Aussie website they have 3 different versions: Original, NextGen, and Compact.
  20. Clearview Towing Mirrors

Here's the only pic I have at the moment - I'll try to accommodate any requests for pics/videos when I get off work in an hour. I'll grab a tape measure too, if desired. The clear lens along the bottom edge is white when puddle lights are active and yellow for turn signals.
