You did that dealership a huge favor by buying a Ranger off the lot with a chrome package.
They could smell the boomer from miles and miles away. ;)
Just joking around haha
I'll be the first Cactus Grey owner to say it. :) I wish I would have waited out for Velocity Blue or White instead of this color choice.
I also thought that the first couple times that I saw it in person it looked like a flat grey to me. Now the longer I own it, it looks more and more faded...
Maybe it is my remote start that's draining it soo badly. I bet you're on to something. I use my remote start and let it sit for 5-10 minutes at a time before leaving out here in the winter.
I just want to make sure it's fully warmed up because driving this truck while it's cold, makes the...
My gas mileage is piss poor in this truck. I live in the midwest so I know the winter slightly hurts your MPGs, but I still don't think I should be averaging 13.5 MPG.
Only modification is 32 inch tires.
I've also been on the lookout for some offroading around the flat area of the country. The 2 offroad parks out by my have closed their doors pre-covid days.
Definitely interested in any groups for the spring/summer seasons. I hear Michigan has some decent trails. I know Drummond Island is a...
Pleasant Prairie, WI over here. Always looking for a ranger meet for camping or trails sometime.
Just seems like we have to drive 8-10 hours for decent offroading for us haha.
I'm also located in Southeastern Wisconsin, in Pleasant Prairie. Just constantly sad that there is nowhere around us to take our trucks off road. I do have a few trips planned for the truck around spring/summer time though.
I'll drop a reply in that great lakes thread.
Yeah I still have the FX4 shocks in the garage. I could quickly swap them over if they gave me an offer I can't refuse.
Outside of the suspension, I just have a Tonneau cover, new tires and a tailgate damper. I doubt any of those would come up in question.
Now I'm curious what carmax and carvana would offer me. I still love the truck, but I have a Carmax about 10 minutes from me. I'll get it appraised out of curiosity.
Although they will probably knock me for having Fox2.0 suspension
Oh they are incredibly loud on road. I have to turn up the volume on my music to drown out the road noise from these tires.
I love how aggressive they look, but I’m not sure I would buy them again unless I did a lot more off-roading.
I think I might opt for Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws on my next set...
Savagegeese 2021 Tremor review
I tend to like this guys review style compared to a lot of other youtubers. He goes as far as putting each vehicle on a lift and going over the underbody of the vehicles and sometimes even speaks with mechanics on if they see any red flags mechanically on newer...
It looks great! I think the Westin Outlaw front and rears are my favorite aftermarkets.
What do you think the weight difference is? Is it noticeably heavier?
Yeah go with Kilmat if you want to save some money. I've heard nothing but good things about those mats.
I only opted for Dynamat due to amazon shipping times to my location and there was nothing local.
