Anyone out there with experence towing a single axle travel trailer under 5000 lbs without a weight distribution/ sway control hitch ?

Driving home today engine started shuddering felt like engine misfiring and service engine light came on. 2019 X L T I've had it a little over a year but only has 6300 miles on it. Any Ideas of what's causing this?

My info screen has a magnifying icon , but I have no clue how to operate the zoom. I've touched it thinking it may be a touchscreen option, nothing. I can find nothing in the owners manual about a zoom feature. Anyone know how to use it? Does all Rangers have a zoom feature?
