I just got word from the repair shop. The transmission (10R80) on my 2019 Ranger is toast. It just passed 123,000Km or 76,000 miles. I've never towed with this small truck and basically drive it only on weekends and pretty gently at that. I figured I'd get a lot more milage out of it than that...
