I have a Draw-tite hitch receiver which I think sits a little lower than the factory tow package so I don't have any issues. If I remember right there is a spacer that goes between the frame and tow package which would lower the receiver around a quarter inch. Is that missing?
I guess I glazed over the trans part and forgot the broncos also had a manual option. I feel like swapping anything into that generation discovery is fairly easy if you have a standalone harness for the engine and trans. All the factory gauges still work like the Speedo, odometer, fuel. I was...
My brother had the spare set for his Toyota that we threw on for a weekend of wheeling. I usually run 275/70r18 which is a 33 tire, but the only reason I’m staying with that size is because I tow frequently near the max and don’t want to push my luck
I briefly ran a set of 35x12.5 for an off-roading trip. I am running around a 3 in lift in the front and icon leaf packs in the rear in the 2nd option. Rear fit perfectly but the front requires both crash bars removed as well as there is a plastic brick behind the felt on the cab side that needs...
For a while I ran an E50 tune from 5star which my fastest 0-60 was 4.9 with a 13.6 second 1/4 mile. With that being said it was a phone app tracking it so it might not be that accurate
I’ve been towing around this anchor over the last year. The trailer with truck weighs at 6900 and the combined weight is right at 12300 so it’s right on the edge. The truck pulls the trailer perfectly fine with my only issues being the 10 mpg I get, and I had to replace the 2 piece driveshaft...
I’ve noticed the front coilovers have been getting noticeably worse over the last 8000 miles or so, my rear shocks only started showing more slop over the past couple of months. My driving is mostly country roads, both paved and gravel, but I’ve taken them off roading in places like the silver...
I have the arb summit with my fox 2.0 shocks, I was able to adjust the preload to bring the height back to where it was previously. I have approximately 30000 miles on mine and they feel like they need rebuilt, but they rode pretty amazing before that. I would have got with the deaver leaf...
For more travel in the rear it might be worth spending more and replacing the rear leafs with something like icon or ome. I have the icon leafs paired with the fox 2.0 shocks and the icons definitely flex better than stock
The arb bumper used most of the oem bumper. If I remember right you take the plastic cover and the steel shell off both sides of the oem bumper and the arb bumper gets attached to what’s left. If your truck already has a tow hitch then it will transfer to the arb bumper.
I have the 5star tuning on mine, which I mainly got because I already had the sct tuner and didn’t know about unleashed. I ran the 93 performance tune since the truck was new, it definitely has more power but it does shift harder. I also netted around 25mpg average and still maintained 23 after...
Hey I did get around to taking it off and measuring it up, because of length both FedEx and UPS want around $150 for ground shipping for Michigan to California. It was worth a shot, I figured it would be $50 or something but I haven't shipped anything in years.
Alright, when the new bumper comes in I'll take it off and get a better idea on size and weight for a shipping estimate and check back if your interested. I wouldn't ask much more than shipping because it would probably just get thrown away otherwise, but I'm all the way in Michigan so that...
You just want the plastic air dam the standard trucks have instead of the fx4 skid plate? I just ordered an arb front bumper so I will probably have one within the next week or so. I have no idea how much shipping would be though because of the size
