good luck. my case the sudden disappearing coolant act was headgasket/block defect. the waterspots i see on your pics just look like water spots, not antifreeze burning off.
also i think the wet spot youre shining the light at is from the ac. mine drips there im pretty sure.
yup just happened. the only other problem i have had with the truck was for about 20k miles (60-80k) had a hesitation and weird shifting, finally at about 80k it popped an egr differential pressure code, replaced the differential pressure sensor and was fine after that.
as for the head gasket...
Head deck surface is flat, I have that pic on my phone but it doesnt show anything (indentation or marring etc). the indentation is only on the block deck surface and it appears the black sealing material on the gasket wore away matching the pattern on the block. the gasket is not on the head in...
