  1. Carrier Bearing NOT Covered Under Warranty

I'm hoping! I really have little trust and hope in new vehicles these days. Miss the days of my high school 91' F150 with not much more than spark, air, and fuel to get you where you needed to go.
  2. Carrier Bearing NOT Covered Under Warranty

Wish I would have known this sooner, but to be honest I was so sick of dealing with Ford and warranty B.S. that I was begging to get out from under it. The new Canyon is pretty sweet, got the bougie AT4 interior package with leather seats and nut coolers and let me tell you, I can never go back...
  3. Carrier Bearing NOT Covered Under Warranty

When I talked to the service manager he originally said it would be covered based off the part number he put it, but it when they went back to Ford to do the warranty claim it came back as non-covered.
  4. Carrier Bearing NOT Covered Under Warranty

*52K, but I am leasing the Canyon and it only costs me $30 more a month than my payment on the ranger for a much nicer truck. But no, I don't think it's an overreaction given all the other issues I've had with the truck and with Ford in general. If it were the first issue at almost 50k miles I...
  5. Carrier Bearing NOT Covered Under Warranty

Hello All, Just wanted to share my recent experience with Ford's warranty dept not covering a failing carrier bearing, PN: KB3Z4W602A under the 5 year/60k mile powertrain warranty. Bearing started making noise at about 45k miles, drove it for another couple hundred miles before taking it to...
  6. Colorado Selling Rough Country Tri-fold hard tonneau 5' bed

Hope I'm on the right thread, but I'm selling my Rough Country Tri-fold hard tonneau cover for a 5 foot bed. I had it on the truck for about 8 months till I switched to a soft tonneau when I got a bed rack. It has a textured black finish and has a few minor dents from some hail that are only...
  7. ReadyLift Intrusion Beams

Thanks! Installing them should be really easy. Just need a couple wrenches and something to tap them into place.
  8. ReadyLift Intrusion Beam Install

Install is significantly easier than the OEM removal. All you need for install is a couple wrenches and something to tap them into place.
  9. Bed Rack Cover Product Survey for Entrepreneurship Class

Hey guys and gals, I'm currently developing a product for an entrepreneurship class and I was wondering if you could take a couple minutes to fill out a short survey. It's only 5 questions, but they are short answer so the more info the better! I want to see if there's some real interest in the...
  10. Tire Reviews!

I got the Falken Wildpeak AT3W's in 265/70r17 and so far I really like them. I haven't done much offroading with them, but I have driven quite a bit in the snow and they're great in the snow. Good grip when stopping. Quiet on the highway, good tread wear.
  11. ReadyLift Intrusion Beam Install

I do as well, so far they've worked great and I have no complaints.
  12. ReadyLift Intrusion Beams

Positive offset will keep the centerline of the wheel closer in towards the truck. Negative offset will push it farther out.
  13. ReadyLift Intrusion Beams

I have zero offset with 4.75" of backspacing. If you have less backspacing or more offset you probably won't rub, but should still get intrusion beams in my opinion.
  14. ReadyLift Intrusion Beams

I didn't have any issue getting the new ones in other than needing a little tapping cause there was some gunk in the tube and it was a tight fit. The bolts fell right in.
  15. ReadyLift Intrusion Beams

I figured you could probably get it out by removing those pins and pulling it back, I just didn't wanna test the rigidity of the liner and end up ripping that or creasing it. Glad you got it out the right way tho haha
  16. ReadyLift Intrusion Beams

No I had to cut the plastic crash plate things on the rear ones. The outer most bolt hits them. I've already done enough to void my warranty so I wasn't worried about cutting some of the plastic away to save me from having to take apart the entire wheelwell. Here's some pics of the damage...Not...
  17. ReadyLift Intrusion Beams

Mine is 4.75" backspacing with 0mm offset for reference. I'd say 3.5 inches of backstage or some offset if its more is definitely necessary.
  18. ReadyLift Intrusion Beams

They stick out quite a bit. A little more than I had expected. Not sure if ill get fender flares, I like the paint matched ones, but not sure if its super worth it since they're pretty spendy.
  19. ReadyLift Intrusion Beams

Based on how much the rubbed, and the fact that I want to take this overlanding eventually, I never tried it and just opted to get aftermarket intrusion beams.
