  1. DIY: Adding the 12V Power Outlet Option in the Bed

Working like a charm! Thanks for the fast delivery and communications. Great addition to my truck.
  2. Fox stage 1 suspension support OME rear leaf kit

so strange as the specs list the fox actually extending farther than the OME, perhaps one is misreporting. Sounds like you were unloaded when they blew? If that’s the case I’ll definitely be adding weight in the back when the camper is off, and try not to go airborne!
  3. Fox stage 1 suspension support OME rear leaf kit

Ah. I do think I saw your thread or comment about that. My backup is definitely replacing the rears with the OME shocks. I find it so strange you ran into that when the specs say they should be fine compared to the OME shocks. when yours blew do you know if it was from over extension or...
  4. Fox stage 1 suspension support OME rear leaf kit

Oh wow yeah you went for the heavy duty ones. I nearly did but wanted some balance between loaded and unloaded as I won’t always be full timing with the camper. Curious to hear how yours rides
  5. Fox stage 1 suspension support OME rear leaf kit

Ok so I had a shop do this one as I’m on a time crunch. Result: a lot more than 2.2”! More like 4”. Got some crazy rake so looking forward to it settling. Also with the camper in it of course not so bad (will try that out tonight). Oh and heard back again from fox sales/tech rep after some...
  6. Busted tie down - alternatives?

Alright finally got time to take the camper off and fix this thing. I definitely think they never installed the bolt after the liner was installed. The holes didn’t line up at all. Had to unbolt them tie down completely and clear the opening of both bolts holes. Then it all went back into place...
  7. Busted tie down - alternatives?

So it appears as though the bolt does not go all the way in. Only about half way, and then will not tighten further and backs back out if you try. I haven’t been in a good place to take the camper off so it’s been tricky to resolve/get good leverage. Will need to find a place to take the camper...
  8. DIY: Adding the 12V Power Outlet Option in the Bed

Just purchased! Exactly what I’m looking for - also looking to max out to 20amps on the 12V - looking forward to trying it out
  9. Busted tie down - alternatives?

Appreciate the fast feedback all! I agree and suspect the same - the metal of the tie down also does not appear bent significantly which I’d imagine it would be if the bolt got pulled/sheared out. Also doesn’t appear as though any of the bolt is still in there. Just an odd situation that it...
  10. Fox stage 1 suspension support OME rear leaf kit

So, I’m going to go for it. Installing the OME leafs with the FOX shocks. I figure if I have issue with the shock overextending I can replace them with the OME in the rear. I reached out to ARB and it’s their opinion that there will be no issue having the OME rear shocks with the front FOX coil...
  11. Busted tie down - alternatives?

It’s definitely possible though I’d be surprised as it’s been solid (or I haven’t noticed when attaching the camper) for a couple months over several trips. Got a bolt on order, will see if it’s a simple reinstall.
  12. Busted tie down - alternatives?

I can’t find the bolt must have flown out the back. Here’s a closer shot
  13. Busted tie down - alternatives?

Thinking this may have to do with the spray in bedliner
  14. Busted tie down - alternatives?

Not sure if correct part of site to post - I have a camper (scout yoho) ~1100lbs I use. Ranger handles it well. Been no issue for couple months now. Today however I noticed one of the tie downs was loose - turns out one of the attachment points in the bed has popped out on one end - see shots...
  15. Fox stage 1 suspension support OME rear leaf kit

so strange fox rep would not be aware it’s within range, unless I’m misreading. I have timbren SES which will limit the compression so I’m not terribly worried there.
  16. Fox stage 1 suspension support OME rear leaf kit

Yeah. It would only really be an issue loaded if I hit an unexpected pothole or the like. I don’t anticipate going full articulation off-road with the camper in the back. Unloaded it’s more of a concern, though
  17. Fox stage 1 suspension support OME rear leaf kit

very interested in source for this as fox rep said above it could be an issue. here’s a response from APG regarding their Deaver leaf springs paired with the fox 2.0 for any interested: interesting take as it’s a bit different from FOX’s above in that he’s saying shocks are expected to be the...
  18. Fox stage 1 suspension support OME rear leaf kit

alright, was guessing replacing with total ome solution would be the sensible route. What about just putting in the ome rear shocks https://www.stage3motorsports.com/60156-19-22-ranger-old-man-emu-nitrocharger-sport-rear-shock-standard.html but keeping the front fox coil overs?
  19. Fox stage 1 suspension support OME rear leaf kit

Yep so heard back from fox sales: Kind of disappointing considering stage 3 recommended this combination of suspension parts to me. Curious if anyone has reccs for what my options are here. I’ve installed timbrens and they are touching the frame once my camper is in the bed now with the fox...
  20. Fox stage 1 suspension support OME rear leaf kit

hey frenchy thanks for the reply. I actually think your comment was the one I originally saw that spooked me, just found it again: https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/thinking-of-adding-ome-rear-suspension.11488/post-219615 the camper is not a trailer but is in the bed of the truck
